Anne - thanks - it was taken last night at a place called Lookout Point in Corona del Mar. There were so many people sitting there watching the sunset, taking photos. Amazing!

Carol - it was amazingly calm last night, and so warm, like a summer evening, just sans the boats!

Darrell - it was very calm evening.

Larry - the weather here has been unseasonably warm, and now of course we are low in the rain as well.

Sharon, this is the most beautiful picture.....I would love this to be the veiw from my dream house.

Sharon.... very nice. That crack in the clouds just lets enough light in to make it a mysterious pic.  And Wordless Sunday on Wednesday works for me. :)

Nice sunset photo, Sharon, the light show is amazing but it is over so quickly!  I posted a shot from Lookout Point this week also....... there must be a few thousand Lookout Points.
