The Seine River in Paris, France - Speechless Sunday

The Seine River in France is an important commercial waterway in Paris, France. This photo was taken this past summer and I thought it was absolutely beautiful. We did  take a water taxi to see the Eiffel tower and it was incredible to view Paris from the river. There were many dinner boats as well, and it is a great way to enjoy the scenery of Paris. The architecture of this area is detailed and intricate as well.

Hi Sharon - That's a lovely photo, very evocative of Paris. Mary & I spent Christmas there 6 years ago, and it was a magical experience. There were almost no tourists - we had the Louvre and Versailles pretty much to ourselves, the French were in a great mood and very friendly, and the city was beautiful, as usual.

Hi Tim - thank you - it was incredible walking all along the Seine river, but taking the water taxi was awesome!

HI Dick - although there were lots of tourists in the summer, and the Louvre was pretty crowded, it was still a magical experience.

Sharon,

Seeing that picture made me want to break out in a song, I love Paris.  And the companion song as sung by Yves Montand is called A Paris.  You made my French side sing.  Thanks, A

One of our favorite things to do there in Paris - the Seine River cruise, especially at night!

Have a great week and thanks for sharing!

Sharon I have not been to Paris in quite a while, you just peaked my interest for a revisit. When I was there the Eiffel Tower Restaurant was under Renovation so I had to go somewhere else to eat:))
