Speechless Sunday - the Harbor in Nice, France

This past summer I was fortunate to visit Europe and one of the highlights of the trip was Nice, France. The coastline is absolutely stunning, and the water is a turquoise blue. The Harbor in Nice had some amazing yachts as well, and it was overall an incredible place to see. Definitely look forward to returning to Nice.

Sharon

That is spectacular. I've not been to Nice to everyone I know who has been has raved about the South of France. This reminds of the coast and harbor at Portofino on the Italian Riviera. Post card perfect!

Sharon - this looks really beautiful and maybe some day I'll give it a try. I can't say that I've been overly impressed with the French people I've met so far.

Great picture, Sharon!  My husband visited just a little in Nice while on our where to another small town on the French Riviera called Juan Les Pins.  It was a much needed stop for relaxation on our 3 week, 7 country whorl wind tour of Europe back in 1990 when there was no Euro and not international use of cell phones!

Hi Renee - it would be perfect for you since you speak the language!

Hi Michelle - definitely need to plan a trip!

Larry - I actually found them to be very nice and helpful. I don't speak French at all, and they went out of their way to assist (mostly).

Hi DeeDee - time for a return visit!

Sharon - I can only see one problem with that scene.  If I were there on that spot where that picture was taken, you'd need to drag me screaming and kicking away from it.  I would NEVER want to return home:-)
