Cameo Shores in Corona del Mar is a highly sought after community of homes located in Corona del MarCameo Shores is located on the ocean side of Coast Highway in Corona del Mar, and there are approximately 170 home sites. The neighborhood was designed to be terraced so that all the homes maintain their spectacular ocean views and Catalina Island views (with the exception of the uppermost street). And also for the home owners in Cameo Highlands to have ocean views as well. These Corona del Mar homes for sale were originally built in the 1960's, however many have been completely remodeled, and rebuilt.

There are gorgeous rock formations, and it is a place to truly enjoy the ocean. There are also tide pools to explore on these private Corona del Mar beaches.

The last reported sale in Cameo Shores in Corona del Mar was in June, 2011 for $8,795,000. All of the active listings in Corona del Mar are standard sales. Because there are six active listings, and there have only been six sales in the past year creates an fairly high absorption rate.

Cameo Shores is definitely the luxury market in Corona del Mar. The average list price per square foot is $2166.62 and the price per square foot, in my opinion is that price point because a few of the properties which are listed for are ocean front. These ocean front properties in Cameo Shores are very coveted, with incredible views, and I believe that is the reason for the higher price per square foot. The sales price per square foot over the past one year has been $1083.06 which is roughly half.

Nice reflections on Cameo Shores . . . the absorption rates are helpful.  It's a small area and seems like a good buy-in.

Luxury is an understatement. Over $2K per sq. ft. is a big wow. Of course those views are really somehting to behold. Thanks for the marker report.

Hi Bob - yes $2000 a square foot - I believe much of it is the location, and some of the homes are perched upon a cliff with forever views.

Hi Yolanda- I think the higher price per square foot is because of the ocean front homes.
