Located in Corona del Mar, Cameo Shores is located on the ocean side of Coast Highway. Cameo Shores is a development of approximately 170 home sites which are single story. Cameo Shores in Corona del Mar has a park called Roxbury Park for the exclusive use of the residents of both Cameo Shores and Cameo Highlands. Additionally, there are three private beaches for the residents of Cameo Shores and Cameo Highlands. The beach has beautiful rock formations that creates a very picturesque view. It is a great place to view tide pools and take in the sea life.
The children in Cameo Shores attend Harbor View Elementary School in Corona del Mar which is a Blue Ribbon School. Harbor View is located at 900 Goldenrod Avenue, Corona del Mar. The middle and high school kids attend Corona del Mar High School located at 2101 Eastbluff Drive, Newport Beach, California.
Cameo Shores is also in close proximity to the Village of Corona del Mar which has upscale shopping and dining. It is a pedestrian area, and a wonderful place to browse the shops. During the holiday season, in Corona del Mar, there is the Christmas Walk. The Christmas Walk brings together thousands of people who come and enjoy entertainment, food, and even carolers.
Corona del Mar is a highly coveted community, and there are many beautiful areas to reside including Cameo Shores and Cameo Highlands. Corona del Mar literally means "crown of the sea".
