Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach

Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach

Victoria Beach in Laguna Beach

Victoria Beach is located down from Victoria Street off Coast Highway in South Laguna Beach. It is a beautiful beach and private location which and a great place to explore, swim, and skim board. It is very close to the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach.

Victoria Beach does have public access off Victoria, and it is a fairly easy walk down the stairs, definitely not as steep as 1000 Steps Beach in Laguna Beach. Victoria Beach does have a very nice sandy beach, and there is an on shore break, and rip tides do come up occasionally. It can be treacherous if there is larger surf or high tide. It is always recommended to swim near a lifeguard.

Victoria Beach does not have public facilities on the beach. Victoria Beach is a marine protected area to not disturb the tide pools.

It is a pretty interesting beach however, because if you hike across the rocks, there is an old light tower, and a sea water pool which was constructed some time ago. The pool fills with the ocean when the tide is high. Use caution and monitor the tides.

The Light House on Victoria Beach is pretty interesting to see and definitely to photograph. It was pretty overcast yesterday as you can tell by the photos.

Victoria Beach has tide pools to explore and discover sea creatures.

It is a beautiful beach, and does have homes located in the area. There is also a private gated area called Lagunita and the residents of Lagunita utilize Victoria Beach as well. There is no private parking, so if you are intending to visit Victoria Beach, then it would be best to arrive early so you can secure parking. You may have a walk ahead of you, but I think it is worth it.

Sharon,

What a beauiful beach, and I love the picture of the anemone.  When we have low tide here, I love all the sea life that becomes visible such as the star fish in amazing colors, sponges, etc.  Thanks for showing off the best of your marketplace.

Victoria Beach looks like a wonderful place to spend the day.  The sea creature looks like the ocean's flower. Nice Photos.

That old light tower looks like it has sunk a little over the years.

I love Vic Beach, it is at the base of my hill and one of the most well known in Laguna. I would definitely agree that it can be a secluded beach, but i would not say that it doesn't get crowded with tourists in the summer...it most definitely does!  But then again, all of Laguna gets busy! This week has been particularly busy because it was school vacation week. Feels like summer already.
