Sharon, Cute bird and title. Thanks for sharing with us.
Great photo and a nice shade of green is he yours and does he or she talk yet?
What fun. What a great photo. What a beautiful bird. I hung upside down like that when I was oh about four.
Sharon, I love this one - so funny. Thanks for the smile today.
and next on the trapize . . . .
Sharon, now that's looking at things from a different prospective.
Sharon, cool shot... don't you wish you could doo that some times, I know I do.
Hi everyone - thanks for the comments. The bird is a brown headed south african parrot, and he is a hand fed baby- still under a year old. He is my daughter's bird, but is very sweet. He whistles a lot - and can imitate, and is starting to say a few words. Thanks for the comments.
Quite pretty. He must have been around the real estate market the past few years. That's turned a lot of people upside down, too.
So the bird is your grandbirdie then! What a beautiful baby he is!
Hi Sharon! What a great shot! I know you can't wait for him to be in 'full-imitation' mode!
Funny story--I was touring a home with the sellers prior to listing a property and we were headed up the stairs to check out the second level. I heard, what I thought was the guy in front of me, saying, "Shut the hell up and get the hell out of here RIGHT NOW!" This came after I had just made a comment about touching up the paint on the walls up the stairs. I stopped and paused for a minute, not really knowing what to do. Then I heard, "I told you to get out of here you dumb dog!" At the same time, the owner began apologizing to me and introduced me to his BIRDS who were imitating him--I proceeded up the stairs to see these gorgeous birds being watched by their admiring dog-of-the-house, staring into their cage! I laughed so hard that I cried! I could not believe how the birds sounded EXACTLY like the homeowner! The dog's tail was wagging so, I knew he was not at all bothered by the rude remarks the birds were making!!
Hope you have a fabulous Friday...
Hi Sharon, What a cute photo. Great color... Love the title of the post. Thanks for sharing, have a great weekend.

Now that's what I would call hanging on.
Good luck and success.

Sharon - His definition of "hanging around" isn't quite the same as mine! Looks like he is having fun though!
Hi Sharon,
Cute photo & title! Your daughter is going to have many years of fun with her handfed young parrot! Parrots make wonderful pets. Thanks for sharing!

Sharon,
Nice picture capturing him upside down. Looks like a performing bird - expect to see him flipping to a trapeze or something. :)
