Jasmine Creek in Corona del Mar, CA

Jasmine Creek, located in Corona del Mar is a private gated community. Originally developed by M.J. Brock and designed by Architect Walter J. Richardson in the early 1970’s. Jasmine Creek was designed with height restrictions so that the homes on Harbor View in Corona del Mar would maintain their views. Jasmine Creek was originally planned to have 379 homes, however, Jasmine Creek was downsized to 324 home sites.

Jasmine Creek is located off Marguerite in Corona del Mar, and many of the homes have Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island views.

Jasmine Creek in Corona del Mar has two pools, and tennis courts for the exclusive use of the residents. There is also a community clubhouse for the residents of Jasmine Creek.

There are both condos and single family residences located in Jasmine Creek. There are six floor plans ranging in square footage from 1857 to 2582. Three of the floor plans have a main floor bedroom. Jasmine Creek has green belts and walking trails.

Cameo Shores is located in Corona del Mar, and is a highly sought after community. With the terraced homes, and sweeping ocean views, Cameo Shores in Corona del Mar is a beautiful community. Cameo Shores is located on the ocean side of Coast Highway and has approximately 170 home sites. There are height restrictions in Cameo Shores and Cameo Highlands so that the home owner's can maintain their ocean views.

There are three private beaches for the exclusive use of the Cameo Shores residents. The beaches have beautiful rock formations, and during the summer months, the residents get together on the beach after work to celebrate summer.

Sailhouse in Corona del Mar – Market Update
11-1-2009 to 3-20-2010

Sailhouse is a community of homes in Corona del Mar which was built by John Laing Homes in 2002.  There are both attached and detached condos.  These homes in Sailhouse are walking distance to the Village of Corona del Mar so the residents can enjoy upscale dining and shopping. Sailhouse is off Jamboree in Corona del Mar. The community of Sailhouse is very close walking distance to Harbor View Elementary School in Corona del Mar.

Currenly, there are three active listings in Sailhouse in Corona del Mar.

2535 Bungalow Place, Corona del Mar – priced at $1,149,000

Sherman Library and Gardens in Corona del Mar

Sherman Library and Gardens is located in Corona del Mar. It is an exhibit of beautiful and unusual living plants. There is a koi pond with a water fall and other water features. There are different types of plants including succulents, and tropical plants. There is a restaurant so you can enjoy the beautiful gardens while having breakfast or lunch, and it is also a place where you can host a private event such as a wedding.

Cameo Highlands in Corona del Mar, California

Cameo Highlands is located in Corona del Mar (which means Crown of the Sea) across Coast Highway from Cameo Shores. The residents of Cameo Highlands enjoy the three private beaches in Cameo Shores as well as Roxbury Park.

Cameo Highlands in Corona del Mar originally has ten floor plans that were built in this area, however many of these homes have been completely remodelled or rebuilt. The streets in this area include Cameo Highlands Drive, Cortland, Dorchester, Garrett, Rockford, Surrey, and Wayne. The homes in this area, much like Cameo Shores are all single story and some of the homes have panoramic ocean views. The elementary school for this area is Harbor View Elementary. This is a very popular family neighborhood.

Cameo Shores is located further south than the Village in Corona del Mar  and there are approximately 170 home sites. Corona del Mar 31st Annual Christmas Walk

Corona del Mar has a wonderful holiday tradition to enjoy the holiday season, and it is the 31st Annual Christmas Walk.  It is hosted by the Corona del Mar Chamber of Commerce, and is an event with holiday cheer and festivities for all to enjoy. Each year, there are literally thousands of people who visit the Village of Corona del Mar and visit the stores, and enjoy the festivities. This is a great time to visit with friends and family and enjoy the holiday season.

There will be Carolers, bounce houses and wonderful food, this is a holiday tradition that should not be missed.

The Corona del Mar 31st Annual Christmas Walk will be held:

48th Annual Sandcastle Contest in Corona del Mar

October 4, 2009

This Sunday, October 4th, 2009 is the 48th annual Sandcastle Contest in Corona del Mar which will be held right on the beach. If you would like to participate in this event, you can download this form and enter the contest. There are three different entry fees - if you enter as a family, the entry fee is $30, and if you enter as a business, the fee is $40. If you enter in the Master Class (these are considered Architectural firms), the fee is $60.00. Here are some photos from last year. This one entrant created a "sand-witch"!

Whether you are participating as a fan or if you enter the contest to create a sandcastle, it is an event not to be missed. The details in these sandcastles are amazing. Last year, there were some themed towards the Olympics, and there were also some Halloween sandcastles. And it is just another great opportunity to enjoy the beach and enjoy the beauty of Corona del Mar. Also, enjoy an opportunity to meet up with some new friends.
