Taste of Newport 2008 - Newport Beach, California
The Taste of Newport is an annual event which is held in the streets at Fashion Island in Newport Beach is going to be held on Friday, September 19th, from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm, Saturday, September 20th from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and Sunday, September 21st from Noon to 8:00 pm. 
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about many of the Newport Beach restaurants. There will be approximately thirty of Newport Beach finest establishments and fifteen wineries. Come and visit the Taste of Newport, bring your family and friends. Enjoy the cooler summer evenings and you visit each of the restaurants that will be presenting food, and have just a taste - so you can learn more about the food that restaurant presents.
In addition to spectacular food and dining, be sure to stay and enjoy the spectacular entertainment. There will be live entertainment. This year in at the Taste of Newport in Newport Beach, the following bands will be playing:
Friday - September 19th - Third Eye Blind
Saturday - September 20th 2008 - Styx
(of course we all remember the song "Lady")
Sunday - September 21, 2008 - UB40
(UB40 more popular songs include "red, red wine", and "Can't help falling in love")
