Are you considering selling your home? Prior to selling it is ideal to get your home in tip top condition. Be sure to address any past maintenance items, or any deferred maintenace. Very important considerations are plumbing items, water leaks can lead to other issues that any buyer would want to know about that.
What is the condition of the roof of the house? Has it been replaced, repaired? If so, by who and when, having those documents in order will be helpful to any buyers who may have questions about the roof.
Do you have any pests? It is very common in California to see termites, so that inspection is often done. Termites can also be very destructive and if there is active infestation, that may need to be remediated prior to selling.
Buyers often ask about the square footage of the house, in most cases this information is obtained from the tax records or assessor, however if there was an addition, the square footage may fluctuage.
