Rudy's Pub and Grill in Newport Beach
Rudy's Pub and Grill has evolved to one of the hot spots in Newport Beach. Located right on Newport Boulevard in Newport Beach, the building that Rudy's occupies was originally the House of Pies 20 years ago. There were several businesses that occupied the same building, then in the spring of 1990, it became DP's Pub & Grill. Rudy Kaminski (now the owner) worked for DP's in different positions, and then eventually bought the business. DP's Pub and Grill was a popular sports bar, but it was about to get even better.
Rudy Kaminski and Todd Carson (who is a real estate developer as well as a friend to Rudy and his wife Brandy), created a partnership. With their partnership, they began a complete and total transformation of Rudy's Pub and Grill. The transformation has been amazing. Rudy and Todd took their business and re-invented it. From a local sports bar, this place is happening!! Whats not to like!!! The sunshine, games galore, and great food!
Living in Newport Beach, we are fortunate to have excellent weather (most of the time). However, sitting inside of a pub not enjoying the sunshine was something that both Rudy and Todd wanted to change. They completely remodeled the restaurant, but they added a 40 foot retractable roof. Now the pub and grill is enjoying the outdoors while inside. They also installed artificial turf to create the look of a freshly mowed lawn.
Rudy's Pub and Grill is an awesome place to visit. With a great menu of appetizers, lunch and dinner, the food is excellent. Also, Rudy's serves breakfast. I have had Mother's Day brunch at Rudy's where the Moms eat free.
Rudy's has 32 - yes 32 Plasma televisions to enjoy the sporting events. From football, hockey, baseball, there is always something to watch for everyone!
Rudy and Todd are opening another Rudy's in Foothill Ranch. I will post more information about that one once it opens.
