Cameo Highlands is located in Corona del Mar (which means Crown of the Sea) across Coast Highway from Cameo Shores. The residents of Cameo Highlands enjoy the three private beaches in Cameo Shores as well as Roxbury Park.

Cameo Highlands in Corona del Mar originally has ten floor plans that were built in this area, however many of these homes have been completely remodelled or rebuilt. The streets in this area include Cameo Highlands Drive, Cortland, Dorchester, Garrett, Rockford, Surrey, and Wayne. The homes in this area, much like Cameo Shores are all single story and some of the homes have panoramic ocean views. The elementary school for this area is Harbor View Elementary. Newport Shores has a home owner's association and a community clubhouse, heated swimming pool, sand volley ball court, basketball court and tennis court. There are year round activities to be enjoyed by the residents for a reasonable association fee. Newport Shores is located right across the street from the beach, and is definitely considered a "beach community".

The above graph represents the closed sales on single family homes for the area of Newport Beach. To date in 2009, there have been 28 closed sales for single family homes in Newport Beach. The average sales price and percent of list price was higher in January, however data will be updated by the end of March. List and sales price per square foot also showed a decline in February, however there was improvement in this number through out March.
