The Fashion Island Christmas tree arrived last week, and has been assembled, now has the lights on it and is well under way with getting decorated. It will be beautiful as it is every single year. I was at Fashion Island in Newport Beach yesterday and wanted to check out the progress. It is very interesting, and the decorators clearly are NOT AFRAID of heights, and in my prior post, you may recall that the tree is 90' tall.
There is quite the contrast between this gorgeous Christmas tree and the palm trees which surround it.
The Fashion Island Tree Lighting ceremony is going to be held on November 18-29, 2011 at 6:00 pm. The tree lighting on Friday, November 18, celebrate with Mickey and some friends from Disneyland. The tree lighting will be held in the Neiman Marcus/Bloomingdale's Courtyard at beginning at 6pm.
And Santa will be making an arrival as well on November 18-19, 2011 at Fashion Island so bring your children to have their photo taken!
