Are you looking for the perfect Christmas gift? Well then, why not consider adopting an animal from your local shelter. I am a dog person, so I can talk more about dogs, but I know there are many cats and kittens which need homes as well.
A puppy or dog provides great companionship, is non-judgmental, and adds to the house hold. In my opinion, dogs are like family members!! And in my household, our dog is treated as a family member.
If you cannot think of that special or perfect Christmas gift - then consider adopting an animal. You would be helping out the animals along with the shelters who try so hard to find these animals homes.

And honestly, I feel for any animals which are in a shelter. They deserve to have a holiday too. I know every year I like to include my dog Patrick with the holiday season. And he definitely contributes.! He is hilarious!
